At The Black Dog traveler's lodge, we believe that everyone has something valuable to offer. Volunteers like you are essential to our mission of providing shelter, care, and love to stray and abandoned animals in need. Whether you’re passionate about animals or skilled in other areas, there’s always a way for you to contribute.

What You Can Do as a Volunteer:

• Animal Care: Help us feed, clean, and provide basic care to our animals, ensuring they feel safe and loved while they wait for their forever homes.

• Assisting with Adoptions: Support our adoption process by helping potential adopters meet and greet animals, assist with paperwork, and provide follow-up support.

• Fundraising & Events: Help us raise awareness and funds through community outreach, events, and social media campaigns.

• House Painting & Maintenance: Assist with the upkeep and improvement of our shelter by helping with house painting, minor repairs, and general maintenance tasks. Your help will make the space cleaner, more comfortable, and welcoming for both animals and visitors.

• Social Media Management: Use your creativity and social media skills to help us spread the word about our mission! Assist with creating and scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and promoting adoptable animals and events.

• Administrative Support: Lend a hand with office tasks such as answering calls, responding to emails, and managing records to help keep everything running smoothly.

• Tourism Support: If you enjoy meeting people, help with the tourism side of our shelter by welcoming visitors, guiding tours, and ensuring that our guests have a meaningful experience.
